Hi! We’re Sonder Pictures — a volunteer-run, independent film production company dedicated to telling intimate, emotionally honest stories.

At its core, SONDER is fiercely indie, anti-establishment, and DIY—born out of a desire to disrupt traditional pathways into the film industry that often privilege experience and connections over original storytelling and creative voice.

We champion emerging filmmakers and creatives by supporting script development, helping them get their films made, and getting more people on set — especially those who’ve historically been shut out.

Your support helps our ongoing efforts to make filmmaking more accessible.

Your donation helps support Sonder’s mission by funding:

x Community events that connect and celebrate emerging filmmakers

x Hands-on workshops that we'd love to host to teach practical filmmaking skills

x Resources and tools that make indie filmmaking more accessible

x Opportunities for underrepresented creatives to get on set and get experience

x  Legal & administrative costs - Our website, forming and maintaining an LLC to protect our crews on set, and eventually, being able to offer team stipends

x Equipment & Software - Hard drives and gear for post-production, project management & collaboration tools

x Our efforts to start up our next Writers' Incubator and get YOUR films made!
