My name is Tiffany J., MBA and I am the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of So MoTiFFated. I created my blog as a way to reconnect to joy and to empower women. On January 31, 2020, I hit publish and I've been publishing ever since. Now more consistently as I decided to transition this hobby of mine into my full-time business on January 1, 2026.
It's so beautiful to me when I see it written out in a timeline. In between those six years, I got accepted to my hometown school in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned my MBA in Digital Marketing. That's a school that I always knew that I'd circle back to after getting accepted there in undergrad, though I ultimately decided to attend North Carolina State University where I went on to earn two bachelor's degrees in four years. Education in so important to me and I use my blog to educate you on all things special to me in beauty, business, and style. Plus, the occasional things that add to my joy as well.
After getting laid off the day before my MBA graduation, I spent the year determining how I'd pivot. My heart wasn't in anything else but my site. It made perfect sense as looking back on my statement of purpose that I wrote for graduate school admissions, I mentioned that entrepreneurship was always my post-graduation goal.
