Über Something Somewhere
Researching, designing and inspiring change
We are a small non-profit studio created by two Irish designers, Fiona and Ash. We partner with community-led projects in remote parts of the world to research, design and inspire positive change.
Our projects take place on site, usually for 8–10 weeks. During that time we live locally and work in exchange for something to eat and somewhere to sleep. We cover our own transport, vaccines, tools, insurance and visas.
All donations go directly towards project costs, not personal travel expenses.
In the past, donations have helped us print more educational board games in Colombia and build a permanent interactive fact wall in Tobago. Donations allows us to bring more ideas to life and helps communities see the impact of design sooner.
