Über Sotsialnyi rukh (Social Movement)

"The Social Movement (Sotsialnyi Rukh)" is a Ukrainian social organization and initiative that shares the principles of democratic anti-capitalism, feminism and ecosocialism.
Creating a society free of oppression and the omnipotence of capital begins with the creation of an effective and responsible collective. With the status of a non-governmental organization (NGO), we intend to unite young people, female workers and male workers to preserve their civil rights and protect them from harmful reforms. As a matter of principle, we refuse to support any business and rely on the support of progressive left-wing organizations, and international labor solidarity.
All proceeds will go to:
- Holding regular meetings, attracting new members
- Monitoring social conflicts and writing reports - Participation in the activities of trade unions and social movements
- Educational work (discussions, seminars, film clubs)
- Media work (publications for the SR website, development of social networks, distribution of self-publishing, development of video or graphic materials)
- Communicating the positions of the SR (press releases, appeals to the authorities)
- Organizing cultural events (concerts, movie screenings, exhibitions)
- Visual campaigning (graffiti, stickers, leaflets)
