Why would someone pay for a tarot reading?
In my humble opinion, when one is inside of a transitional period it can be easier to seek help outside of their close-knit circle. Words from a stranger can provide more comfort than those from loved ones. Those words may even expose solutions that no one who is trapped in the story themself[ves] could see. Essentially, stories --- whether they be in books or brought to life via divination --- remind us of the 'oneness of humanity & the experiences that define it'.
How long before I see the 'results'?
There is no 'desired outcome' from a tarot reading. There is no timeline. Though dates may come through, there is no guarantee that I, a mere storyteller, can tap into your past, see into your present, or predict your future.
I employ a variety of divination methods for my readings. Some of my favorites are:
- Bibliomancy [flipping to a random page of a book]
- Cartomancy [using a deck of standard playing cards]
- Charm Tossing [jewelry charms tossed onto a scrying mat]
- Shufflemancy [queuing up random songs off a playlist]
- Tarot Cards
I study human behavioral psychology, use media as relatable references, & include humans of all kinds in my stories. In my readings, queens can be male-bodied people & kings can be female-bodied people. There is less toxicity surrounding relationship drama in my stories, because I don't exclude polyamorous connections. There is less focus on cheating, jealousy, etc. & more focus on healthy interpersonal dynamics.
