Hi, I’m Kori.
I’m building Aura IDE, a local open source AI coding harness focused on trust, visible workflow state, safe file edits, and better code quality from LLMs.
Aura exists because AI coding tools are powerful, but the workflow can feel fragile. A setup can click one day, then change underneath you the next. Aura is my attempt to build something developers can inspect, shape, keep, and control.
The project uses Planner/Worker agents, provider flexibility, safe write tracking, and Craft, a quality pass designed to clean common AI generated code slop without blocking valid edits.
Support helps me keep building Aura: installer work, provider integrations, workflow polish, bug fixes, docs, and the unglamorous reliability work that makes tools feel trustworthy.
