After years of discussion, Buc-ee’s is officially coming to Boerne!
On October 27, 2025, the Boerne City Council approved an amended agreement with Buc-ee’s that includes a smaller store design and several community-friendly features. The new store will be 54,000 square feet with 100 fueling stations and a 60-foot sign. It will also have an 8-foot security fence, a 9-acre buffer zone, and dark-sky compliant lighting to preserve Boerne’s night sky.
Eighteen-wheelers will be prohibited, except those servicing the store. Once completed, the Boerne Buc-ee’s will bring about 200 new jobs to the area.
After nearly a decade of planning, the Boerne community will soon welcome its very own Buc-ee’s!
