Small Photobook Cult is a podcast fully dedicated to photobooks. It was born from a need: to look at photobooks in-depth in the company of their authors, having the chance to directly listen to their perspectives. It provides an opportunity to follow that journey that culminates in an object which can at times appear mysterious, and difficult to approach.

Photobooks can speak of shared and shareable experiences, of intimate and personal stories, or even distant and elusive ones. Very often they bear political, social and cultural meanings that concern us and the reality around us.

With just images in the books, the authors' voices and my terrible English, I hope this homely and intimate podcast will help you look closely, and understand the ideas and choices behind each body of work. I will be the guest. The author will be the host.
