À propos Skutaj
a Musician and Artist
Hey 👋 I just created a page here. You can now buy me a coffee to keep me up working on new music and art!
I started this solo music project to draw together my artwork and music and to retain full creativity of my work. I hope to reimagine early music and folk music, typically drawing from medieval and renaissance dance music sources. My hope is to create an atmosphere that draws the listener into another realm using mostly acoustic and period instruments. My early musical influences come from punk, gothic industrial, electronic, and experimental music. I later discovered my love for classical and baroque music and began working with early music instruments, namely the recorder, hand drum, and shawm. I hope to draw my diverse interests together through my music and art. My musical influences also play a strong role in my visual creations, which often show up in my music videos and album covers. My visual art attempts to draw the viewer into an abstracted other-dimensional world.
