It was July of 2017 that I had a vision to create a community respite center for caregivers. A place where I could take a nap, and get doted on to recharge while my kids were in good hands...
The next day, my world came crashing down, and altered my family's life forever.
I didn't let that stop me. I was determined to work towards making my vision happen.
Since my home life was in chaos coming out of Deconstruction, this venture became extremely personal. I wanted to create a guide for my kids that would be a light in their darkness even if I wasn't with them. I had to create it alongside my own healing, dealing with my chronic illness from the trauma, plus still parenting.
The next 5 yrs, I explored as much as possible to figure out the absolute best value for a society that is misunderstood and underserved. On the outside, it seemed that I was all over the place, but I knew the vision I was creating, even if no one else did.
It became my obsessive hyper-fixation, and despite working on it around the clock for years, I wasn't getting anywhere. The pandemic put a huge halt on my progress, and the pressure to throw it completely away and "find a regular job" was crippling.
Just recently, things clicked into place with tools, resources and partnerships that I didn't have access to before. All this time I was walking when what I needed was an airplane. I never lost track of my vision and all the value that needs to be included.
Now that I have the system in place to finally create it, I have a lot of catching up to do!
This course is unlike anything else. The end goal is not knowledge, but rather embracing humanity.
It's something we desperately need right now as we are in social upheaval on every level.
Though I do not have the means to create my respite center yet, I am able to make Simply Beeing official, and get the concept out to the world first. It includes an ebook with workshop, customized Simply Beeing Human by Design ebook, and so much more! This is just the first step, and more to build off of.
In time, caregivers, especially single moms coming out of fundamentalism, will be funded by a platform where you can share your stories! Win win!
For now, I'm working on catching up creating all my content, and putting it on one all-inclusive website where we can interact off of social media. There's even an app in the works.
There's still a ton of work to do to get it all ready, but I wanted to give an update so you know what I'm working on.
Just to get to this point where I can finally see the light is such a relief. The past 5 yrs haven't been wasted!
This is why it's so important to have access to tools, resources and opportunities.
We need these things in order to move forward. Mindset is a huge part of creating, but it's not ALL of it. The other part is ACCESSIBILITY.
So Happy to finally have access to creating my own vision. I hope it will leave as much of an impact for others as it has in my own life.
Regardless of what's happening. We can create our own peace, satisfaction, success and joy!
