À propos Sidi in Wonderland
We spend years studying and working hard, believing we are building a better future. But what happens when the systems we rely on do not help us create the lives we worked so hard for?
Hi, I am Sidi. For more than 20 years, I did what many of us are taught to do. I left Albania as a young adult, studied, built my career across the USA and Europe, and worked with organizations to improve the way they operate. However, through my work in Continuous Improvement and multiple immigrations, I saw how systems and leadership decisions often fail to value and empower the people inside them.
After more than two decades abroad with the last 10 years in USA, a failed work Green Card brought me back to Albania, forcing me to rebuild my life in a place I had left behind while continuing to pursue my purpose. This chapter brought new challenges, uncertainty, and transitions to other countries back and forth, but it also strengthened my desire to understand how we can create more human ways of living and working. That journey led me to pursue a PhD in Leadership and continues to inspire the reflections and work I share today.
I currently live in my challenging yet lovely hometown, Shkoder, Albania.
On my Youtube Channel "Sidi in Wonderland", I share my experiences, reflections, and the journey of building a life that feels truly my own despite the systems we live in.
Through my Facebook and Instagram pages, SmoothRelo Shkodra, I share what's like to live my city, the practical and emotional side of navigating change, and relocation support as a local who returned home after 20+ years abroad and has experienced both sides of starting over.
📖 If these reflections and stories resonate with you and help your own transitions while aiming a life that feels yours, you can support my journey by buying me a book here 🫶 https://buymeacoffee.com/sidi.in.wonderland
Your support helps me continue sharing experiences and lessons with people who are searching for a path that feels more aligned with who they are.
With warmth and gratitude,
Sidi 🤍
