Hey everyone! 👋 A little bit about me . . .

I'm an Indian poet, published author and impulsive doodler. I go through life usually lost in my own world of daydreams, exploring random ideas for the next short story or itching to open my diary and scribble a quick sketch of the girl in the metro. It's a fictional account of how a group of university students come together to resist the increasing forces of fascism and protest against police violence.

I completed my MA in English Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2020. Currently, I'm a Reader for The Mark Literary Review and a verified book reviewer on Reedsy Discovery. I particularly enjoy reading poetry anthologies and children's literature so if you write in any of these genres or wish to get an honest review, just send me a message. I always welcome ARCs, especially keen on supporting indie authors!!!

My work has been previously featured in Ruminate Magazine, Spillwords Press, Radiate Literary Journal, among others. I have a few poems that are scheduled to come out soon in two Indian anthologies. I also cover articles for a student-led NGO, Youth Climate Group, based in Canada where I mainly discuss environmental issues or problems related to climate changes. During my graduation, I used to be a film critic with UK Film Review, Asian Movie Pulse and ScreenRant.

Nowadays, I often share my poems and creative musings on my personal blog, Lemongrass, which I have been maintaining for over 6 years. Sometimes, I like to curate a few selected pieces from there to create little handmade postcards or digitally accessible printable that I offer as "Extras" here. As an artist I'm self-taught, I prefer doing watercolour portraits, but I have also worked on art commissions before to make book covers as well as small illustrations. You can go through my art projects on Il Pennello. (Interestingly, the cover for Unvanquished is also made by me!)
