ShortStick was born out of the idea that shorts get the "Short End of the Stick" when it comes to coverage and Oscar predictions. We started this site in order to talk about the short films we love in a positive light and bring knowledgable predictions each Oscar season. It is very much a hobby and passion project for us but operating costs can get a bit expensive since we do not take funding or get advertising money.
