I’m very excited to begin working on a new doll body: AT206.
This is always one of my favorite stages in the process — the beginning.
When everything is still an idea, and slowly starts taking shape through lines, proportions, and careful construction.
For this project, I’m developing a 3-in-1 pattern:
– Bodysuit
– Knit dress
– Blouse
All pieces will be based on the same core pattern, refined step by step until the fit feels just right.
Today, I’m starting with the most important part — drafting the base pattern digitally.
This is where precision matters the most. Every line, every curve, every millimeter will later affect how the garment fits on the doll.
Before any sewing begins, I always spend time studying the body:
its proportions, balance, and movement.
Only then I start building the pattern.
In the next steps, I’ll be:
