Today I want to show you the figure I presented to the first painting contest I won!❤️
The resin brand Ameralabs hosted, in collaboration with the figure brand Archvillain Games, a painting competition, to present to the market a limited edition resin and I decided to participate. We had to present a design by Archvillain Games and I chose the Frost Giant Valkr, because I loved the design, the posture, the enviroment...everything! ❤️.
I decided to use blue tones for the skin, whites for the hair, and different tones of brown to create leather in different tones, and the Non Metallic Metal technique. I was also eager to try some effects to create frost and snow to decorate the base and I loved the result.
I was very happy with the result so I presented it to the contest and I must say, I was very surprised when they notified me that I won the first prize. I was so happy because I never before had won anything! 😂 And the fact that they liked so much my figure was awesome.
And the funny thing is, that my mother loved this figure so much that I'm going to paint for her a much bigger version (20cm instead of 7,5cm!). Once I finish it, I'll show you the difference between them. I hope you like it!
