About shaunajamesahern
I'm Shauna James Ahern.
I'm a storyteller who created a James-Beard-award-winning cookbook with my chef husband, then wrote a memoir about letting go of my old stories after a mini-stroke in 2015. In my 50s, I realized that I'm wildly neurodivergent.
I have stories.
And I share my stories for you.
Far too many women are carrying too much weight right now.
We smart, kind women—perimenopausal or beyond; built different than the typical; curious—are tired as hell right now.
And when we share our stories, we feel less alone.
That’s why I write my stories. I’m finally telling the truth about my one body, my one life, and trust that somewhere out there, another woman reads it and feels less alone in hers.
I hope that happens for you.
