I'm not in the mood to reflect on 2023 like many people, I'm looking forward to the possibilities in 2024. Maybe I'll revisit 2023, maybe I won't. As usual, I have a lot of huge, exciting goals, most of them are '"to be continued" types of goals.
The weekend before Christmas, I had a miscarriage. I lost a baby in 2022 and two in 2023. You can see why I feel the way that I feel about 2023. It is painful.
Right now, 2024 is looking a lot like 2023:
Maybe continuing to try to have another baby;
spending lots of time with family;
do my best raising Ember and being a good example for her to follow as she grows up;
adventures;
100 mile training (I have a list of ultras);
continue to build my two businesses (Finish Stronger Mindset and Mental Wellness Coaching and Finish Stronger Counseling) and help others;
homesteading. We've been working on getting organized, prepping, and growing some food.
In 2023, I ran 1,707.61 miles.
After I started ultrarunning in 2016, I began to track my miles in 2017.
11,092.82 miles since 2017.
Don't let anything hold you back from following your dreams.
Do your best.
