My overall goal is to increase mental health awareness, the availability of free resources, and the access to services. If you value my free mental health content it would mean a lot to me if you would like, share, or Buy Me a Coffee. This helps people find my free content and allows me to continue providing free content.
The second thing that your donation supports is my dream of completing Badwater 135, which is a goal that I have been working towards since I became an ultramarathon runner in 2016.
Well... not JUST Badwater 135, but the Badwater Cup. The Badwater Cup is earned by finishing Cape Fear (held in March), Salton Sea (April), and 135 (July), all in the same year!
I have spent years chipping away at this massive goal and it is now within reach. I am shooting to apply in 2026 or 2027. Thank you for your support!

Shannon,
I was not sure what to search as it is not everyday you have a cougar encounter. I am grateful I was led to your site.
I have felt like I am loosing my grip as the cougar encounter happened 4 weeks ago and I am still feeling ...?... not ok. Your story became validation that I am perfectly normal. I will check into counsel as well.
Candescence be with you Always,

US Army Chaplain bought 18 coffees.
My last few years in the military before retirement were spent developing and training a curriculum designed for returning soldiers and their spouses to help reconnect following deployment. It was called STRONG BONDS. Your commitment to Finish Stronger every day is exactly on target! In STRONG BONDS we recognized both spouses gained new skills and insights whether on the home front or the combat zone. Yes, life was now different, and adjustments needed to be made as the family reconnected. Commitment to growth meant the changes would make their loving relationship even stronger! Finish Stronger! Well done, Shannon!
