I am thrilled the Ready Tensor, Inc. jury awarded the open-source Talkomic App in the Ready Tensor Computer Vision 2024 Competition as the **Most Engaging Presentation for skilfully combining technical depth with compelling clarity and storytelling**.
Inspired by Jason Gauci Programming Throwdown podcast, Maurizio Raffone and I set out in the summer of 2023 to have a ton of fun and often laughed tinkering whilst learning and integrating a trio of AI models - whisper, chatgpt and a stable diffusion model - bundled in a Unity app that generates contextual images from an episode of Maurizio's TechShift-F9 podcast's audio conversation.
I am amazed at the over 500 breath-taking projects that entered the competition and I'm truly grateful to the jury for recognizing our best efforts in laying out the motivation to piece together the Talkomic app, sharing with the community its design, what we learnt by fleshing out the details and illustrate the steps to reproduce the project.
Both the recognition and monetary reward go a long way as motivation to continue contributing to the open-source community. Thank you Ready Tensor !
