A great way to clear the stagnant energy of the past year is to open all your doors and windows! This is a tradition in my household and once I've rung in the new year I start at the top of my house and open all the windows in the house, then I open the back door and finally move to the front door and allow the air to rush through my home.
When I was young I was told that this blows the old year out the back door and brings the new energy of the new year into the home.
I find the rush of air to be really exhilarating, even if it is a little chilly! And once the old energy is gone I can go about protecting my home for the coming year - but more about this in tomorrow's membership group :)
