Seaside but Still Docked is a band originating from Oslo, Norway, formed in the mid-1990s. The band’s core members, singer Alec Jakobsen and producer Vidar Lauritsen, began their collaboration by writing and performing a collection of original songs in small venues and pubs across Oslo. These early performances helped establish a modest yet dedicated local following. In the late 1990s, Seaside but Still Docked expanded into a full band. The lineup featured Alec Jakobsen as the singer and acoustic guitarist, Kjetil Strømsholm on lead guitar, Bredo Bråthe on additional acoustic guitar, Anders Lindstad on bass and cello, and Ole Petter Lindstad on piano and keyboard.
