π New Essay: The Freedom to Question
I've been thinking about something that once seemed so ordinary to me: the freedom to question.
To disagree with authority. To challenge what we're told. To examine our own beliefs without worrying that doing so makes us disloyal.
In this new essay, I explore how the pressure to conform can appear in families, religious communities, workplaces, and even democracies.
And why one of the most important things we can say is:
"I don't know yet. Let me look."
Because independent thinking isn't about always being right.
It's about remaining free to discover when we're wrong.
