Our event to celebrate Cassette Week was an absolute blast! Loads of people brought some magically random tapes to play ranging from their own demos from the 80s and 90s to Bhangra beats from Birmingham. We had Pink Floyd, The Vines, Ladytron and The Shadows. And yes, we finished with Roland Rat!
The star of the day was our very own tape-only release - Save Ferric's First Day Off. We made 17 copies for the October 17th and - fanfare please - we almost sold out! In fact , we have one left and being the generous soul I am, I thought I'd post that to one of you guys as a thank you for supporting the Save Ferric fanzine thus far.
I shall ask the internet to generate a random number and count down the orders and downloads until we find our lucky winner! This also means, if you've bought all issues, for example, you'll have three chances to win which I think seems fair?
So good luck to you - I will contact the winner in the next few days to arrange delivery.
And as always, thank you for supporting Save Ferric. Keep reading, keep sharing and keep loving tapes. I'll see you in 2027 with issue 4!
Mike xx
