In the evening of March 27, 2022, we will witness the crowning of the Hiyas ng Pilipinas titleholders from the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
31 candidates will be competing for the Hoyas ng Pilipinas title this year. And with the very clean and well organized pre-pageant activities this year, we can say that Hiyas ng Pilipinas can potentially become one of the better national pageants in the country.
Our top favorites for the Hiyas ng Pilipinas crown/s are Dean Dianne Balogal of Baguio and Phoebe Godinez from Lapulapu City. The two ladies IMHO are the frontrunners of this year's competition.
We wouldn't discount Megan Campbell and Marla Alforque as well. The two ladies seems to be tough competitors that could pull the rug under our two personal faves should any of them under-perform come finals. Both Marla and Megan have the experience in both modelling and pageantry so it wouldn't be a surprise if they come guns blazing in the finals.
Completing our Magnificent 7 are Nazreen Alba Fazil, Sheena Mae Balansag and Sheila Marie Fraser who are raw but full of potential. These are the ladies that we expect to be seeing in the nationals in the years to come should they not be crowned winners.
Hiyas ng Pilipinas surely gave us a very promising national pageant whose pre-pageant activities would certainly rival that of Binibining Pilipinas or Miss Universe Philippines with the way they made sure that the candidates experience the feeling of what being a national candidate is should be about. The glamshot photos are very professional looking, we love the uniformity of look and feel in their pictorials but most of all, we can see how the ladies stack side by side against each other. This offers a good way of assessing the ladies in the selection of winners. Plus it also brings the stress off from the candidates financially as they can focus on the competition rather than on the unnecessary expenses of creating videos or shoots from their own pockets.
Give it up to ND Eva Patalinjug to truly give the candidates an experience of a lifetime.
