Whew, halfway through the Big 4, and I'm exhausted! The Blueberry Festival last weekend (four days) took a lot of out me, but it was worth it. My sales were up a whopping 155% year over year!! That is SHOCKING considering how tough this year's event season has been overall.
Not only did I completely sell out of A Fallen Hero Hero and Phantom's Mask in both paperback and hardcover, but people kept buying them even after I ran out of books. I have almost a dozen preorders to ship out. However... I have to carefully balance my preorders with incoming inventory for the Popcorn Festival and Sunflower Fair on deck to make sure I'm not understocked for my Big 4 events.
My immune system was struggling against a bug for the second half of Blueberry, but I've mostly shaken it off in time for Popcorn (unlike last year, when I was quite sick during this festival). Still, it's going to be a verrrrrry long day. But the forecast looks favorable, so I'm hoping for another success!
