This week really kicked my ass!!! Or... I kicked ass this week. Maybe a little bit of both.
I've inventoried 4 boxes of books, made 20 new resin book page holders, burned 8 wooden page holders, and unpackaged/titled/autographed/repackaged over 70 artboards! And I still have a stack of more than two dozen envelopes on my desk waiting for wax seals.
I'm tired... but I'm hoping for a FANTASTIC weekend, and some of this prep work should carry over to the massive Blueberry Festival next weekend as well. I still have another order of books currently in production and am expecting shipments of stickers, magnets, and buttons to arrive next week. (I was hoping they'd be here this week, but unfortunately not.)
If you're local to NW Indiana, this weekend is a really fun event! This will be my fourth year here. The Michiana Ren Fest is a mid-sized festival, so you'll get the full vibe of a Renaissance faire with all the usual activities (jousting, sword fights, belly dancers, animals, cosplay, etc.) without having to navigate an overwhelmingly large venue packed with massive crowds.
