I’ve created this little page to share our journey on the waterways. I left my career over a year ago and also my husband. I needed a huge mental clearance from him and the toxicity of working in the NHS theatres. It has taken a lot of adjustment due to my multiple health conditions but we are still here. I really do love boat life, but having no income can be tough. I still bake and sell my bakes in The Secret Stanley Ferry shop on a weekend along with some of my craft works. Although boating is a relatively cheap life, things do cost money. Gas, petrol for the generator and diesel for the engine are certainly not free. If anyone would like to buy me or Jasper a coffee we would be so grateful ☺️.
