FrameTrellis 1.0.0 Is Live! 🎬

I'm excited to share a major milestone: FrameTrellis has reached its first stable release, v1.0.0!

FrameTrellis is my open-source desktop video editor, built with C++20, Qt 6/QML, MLT, and FFmpeg.

The project is designed around local-first editing. Your media stays on your computer, and the application doesn't require an account, cloud processing, telemetry, or advertising.

What's included?

The first stable release brings multi-track video and audio editing, real-time preview, audio waveforms, transitions, clip adjustments, MP4 export, automatic saving, undo/redo, crash recovery, and missing-media relinking.

Windows users can download either an installer or a portable ZIP package.

There is still plenty to build. Titles, subtitles, keyframes, proxy media, more export formats, and additional platform support remain future work. I'm looking forward to improving the editing experience based on real feedback.
