I am a scientist by profession where I build models of the brain to contribute to our understanding of how the brain computes. I also build lots of Free/Open Source Software for modelling for the research community: NeuroML and Open Source Brain are two well known ones.

I am a Free/Open Source Software community volunteer at the Fedora Linux project. I maintain lots of neuroscience packages so that people can use them seamlessly on Fedora.

While I enjoy all of this very much, I enjoy working with people even more. Onboarding, training, outreach, and dissemination of Open Science and tech is what I love to do.
