Refurbished Electronics Platform ReFit Global Raises $1 Million from a UAE-Based Family Office

Refurbished electronics platform ReFit Global has raised $1 million in a seed funding round from a UAE-based family office, with the round advised by Bestvantage Investments, as it looks to expand operations across India and explore new business opportunities in the Gulf and Africa.

imageHere's what ReFit actually does. Founded in 2018 by Saket Saurav and Avneet Singh, the company operates across the full refurbished electronics value chain, refurbishment, distribution, retail and consumer channels, combining all of it into what it calls an integrated ecosystem. ReFit's devices go through a 47-point quality check, and the company reports a 92% refurbishment yield along with repair capabilities extending up to L4, meaning advanced chip-level repairs, not just surface-level fixes.

The scale here is already substantial. ReFit's distribution network spans more than 75 distributors, 2,000 wholesalers and 50,000 retail outlets across India, reaching metropolitan centres as well as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The company also runs 12 ReFit Xpress retail outlets and sources and sells devices through Flipkart and Amazon, alongside its own B2B and D2C channels. It's also worth noting that ReFit was featured on Shark Tank India Season 3, giving it meaningful consumer visibility.

The fresh capital has a clear roadmap. ReFit plans to expand its retail footprint, strengthen refurbishment capabilities, invest further in technology infrastructure, and build a fully integrated omnichannel platform connecting its online business, physical stores, distributors and enterprise customers. Co-founder Saket Saurav called the round an important milestone that validates the ecosystem the company has been building, with the UAE family office also expected to open doors to partners and customers across Gulf and African markets.

The bigger opportunity is real. India's refurbished smartphone volumes grew 13% year-on-year in H1 2026, and the organised segment still accounts for only around 20% of the market, leaving significant room for formalisation. ReFit now operates in a space that's heating up fast, C2C marketplace Vingo recently raised Rs 10 crore in seed funding, and Flipkart acquired Yaantra to strengthen its own refurbishment capabilities.

From a side hustle idea to a 50,000-outlet distribution network, ReFit Global's seed round is a bet that India's refurbished electronics market is finally ready to go mainstream.
