Mumbai's Unveilr AI Raises Pre-Seed Round from AJVC at a Rs 16.7 Crore Valuation to Turn AI Search into Leads

Mumbai-based Unveilr AI has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round from Aviral Bhatnagar's AJVC, valuing the startup at Rs 16.7 crore, roughly $1.9 million. While the exact cheque size wasn't disclosed, it's worth noting that AJVC's standard pre-seed deal structure, Rs 1.5 crore for a 9% stake, works out to almost exactly this valuation.

imageHere's what Unveilr AI actually does. Founded by Sanditya Srivastava and launched in February 2026, the company sits at the intersection of traditional SEO and what's increasingly being called Answer Engine Optimization, or AEO, helping B2B and consumer brands improve their visibility not just on Google, but across AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. Its AI agents monitor how brands actually show up in AI-generated answers, flag queries where competitors are getting recommended instead, and analyse exactly which sources AI systems are pulling from, then help brands fix their content, technical setup and online authority to close that gap.

The results Unveilr is pointing to are genuinely strong. For an Indian B2B legal services platform, the company says it increased AI-sourced traffic by around 4.7 times and leads by 5 times, alongside an 80% jump in ChatGPT citations, numbers that explain why AJVC decided to back the eight-month-old company this early.

The fresh capital has a clear roadmap. Unveilr AI plans to expand its engineering team, build out additional capabilities for its AI agents, and grow its sales organisation to deepen its presence across its existing markets, India, the UAE and the US.

AJVC founder Aviral Bhatnagar framed the bet simply, saying AI has become the new way people search, and that Unveilr's strong early adoption within AJVC's own large portfolio is itself a signal of how broadly useful the product is proving to be.

The bigger shift matters here too. As buyers increasingly turn to AI platforms and Google's AI Overviews for recommendations, often naming just a handful of brands in any given answer, being visible inside that narrow AI-generated shortlist is quickly becoming as important as ranking on page one of Google used to be.

From SEO specialists and IIT alumni to a Rs 16.7 crore pre-seed bet, Unveilr AI's early traction suggests the AI-search visibility game is just getting started in India.
