Ex-Soulfull Founder Prashant Parameswaran Launches Arovia Consumer, Secures Rs 100 Crore Capital Commitment from Fireside Ventures

Former Soulfull co-founder and managing director Prashant Parameswaran has launched Arovia Consumer, a new e-commerce roll-up venture focused on acquiring controlling stakes in established regional packaged-food businesses across India and scaling them into genuinely national brands.

imageHere’s how the capital is structured, and this detail matters. The Rs 100 crore commitment from Fireside Ventures isn’t a lump-sum cheque sitting in the bank, it’s a capital commitment to be drawn down as Arovia actually closes acquisitions, deployed from Fireside’s fourth fund, which closed in late 2025. As of now, no brand has actually been acquired yet, Arovia is in discussions with multiple identified businesses but hasn’t named a target or disclosed any per-deal amount.

Here’s the specific playbook Arovia is running. The platform is targeting regional packaged-food businesses that have already crossed Rs 100 crore in annual revenue and are either cash-flow positive or profitable, companies with proven products, established distribution, and real consumer loyalty already built, rather than early-stage bets needing to be built from scratch. Arovia plans to acquire majority stakes in two to four such businesses over the next six to twelve months, and is already scouting brands across cities including Pune, Kochi, Coimbatore, Madurai, Mysuru, Mangalore, Surat and Indore.

Parameswaran’s own track record adds real credibility here. He previously co-founded Soulfull in 2013, building it into a recognised health-food brand before Tata Consumer Products acquired it for Rs 155.8 crore in 2021. Fireside Ventures co-founder and partner Kannan Sitaram framed the thesis plainly, saying Arovia combines Parameswaran’s experience building and scaling consumer food businesses with a genuine opportunity to partner with strong regional brands looking to grow beyond their home markets.

The reality check worth flagging: a Rs 100 crore commitment may not stretch far once you account for acquiring meaningful stakes in multiple quality brands while also funding distribution, marketing, compliance and working capital for national expansion, and regional brands often succeed precisely because of local taste and founder relationships, qualities that can get diluted when scaling nationally.

From building one health-food brand to backing an entire portfolio of regional ones, Parameswaran’s second act is betting that India’s food landscape has far more hidden gems waiting to go national.
