Digital Physiotherapy Platform Physioplus Healthcare Raises Strategic Seed Investment at $800K Valuation

Jaipur-based Physioplus Healthcare, a digital physiotherapy platform, has raised a strategic seed investment from HBF India at a valuation of $800,000, aimed at strengthening its technology infrastructure and expanding its footprint across the country.

Here's what Physioplus actually does. Founded in 2022 by Samit Saxena, Jaswant Singh and Madhukar Pareek, the platform connects patients with certified physiotherapists, offering physiotherapy discovery, virtual consultations, patient assessments, clinical documentation and technology-enabled monitoring. Its patient-facing app lets users assess pain and connect directly with physiotherapists, with services designed for people managing chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and post-surgery rehabilitation.

The fresh capital has a clear roadmap. Physioplus plans to enhance its digital infrastructure, expand its professional network of physiotherapists, and grow its reach into more markets across India. According to HBF India, Physioplus has already onboarded more than 1,000 patients on its platform, a meaningful early traction number for a company still finding its footing.

Founder Samit Saxena's framing captures the bigger vision here. He said the future of physiotherapy lies in being able to measure and demonstrate recovery, not simply count sessions, a philosophy reflected in the platform's approach of combining digital practice management, patient data and remote monitoring rather than treating physiotherapy as just a series of disconnected appointments.

The space itself is heating up. India's technology-led physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care segment has seen a steady stream of funded entrants, FlexifyMe raised $2.4 million in a Pre-Series A round led by IvyCap Ventures and Signal Ventures, Stance Health raised $1 million in pre-seed funding, and Rebee Health secured investment from 1337 Ventures for its wearable sensor-based approach, signalling real investor conviction in a category that has historically gotten far less attention than doctor consultations or medicine delivery.

From a slow, unstructured search for the right physiotherapist to a measurable, tech-enabled recovery journey, Physioplus is betting that India's rehabilitation care gap is finally ready for a digital-first fix.
