Cold-Pressed Oil Brand Gramiyaa Raises Rs 18.65 Crore in Series A, Valuation Jumps 49% to Rs 110 Crore

Bengaluru-based cold-pressed oil brand Gramiyaa has raised Rs 18.65 crore, roughly $1.93 million, in a Series A funding round led by new investor Optiscape Network Holdings, with existing backers Homegrown Ventures and Campus Fund also participating. The details come from regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr.

imageHere’s how the round broke down. Optiscape Network Holdings put in Rs 9 crore, followed by Homegrown Ventures with Rs 4.5 crore and Campus Fund with Rs 4 crore. Sarya Global Holdings invested Rs 90 lakh, while individual investor Rasagna Pulapaka contributed Rs 25 lakh. The company’s board allotted 32,968 Series A compulsorily convertible preference shares at Rs 5,657 per share.

The valuation story is the headline here. According to Entrackr’s estimates, Gramiyaa’s valuation rose 49% to Rs 110 crore, up from Rs 74 crore in its pre-Series A round. That earlier round, in March 2025, raised Rs 7.2 crore and was led by Homegrown Ventures, with Campus Fund and Mumbai Angels participating.

A few other details are worth noting. After the allotment, Homegrown Ventures remains the largest external shareholder at 17.34%, followed by Campus Fund at 9.86% and Optiscape at 8.28%. Co-founders Sibi Manivannan, Mohamed Yaseen and Naveenrajamaran RL hold 26.04%, 13.02% and 13.02% respectively. The proceeds are meant for growth capital and general corporate requirements, rather than a specific stated use.

The reality check: at roughly 5.8X its FY25 revenue of Rs 19 crore, as one analysis put it, this valuation rests on the brand sustaining its reported 72.7% growth rate. And since the Rs 110 crore figure is an estimate, not a disclosed number, it should be read with that caveat.

Still, in a D2C food space where many brands chase scale at any cost, Gramiyaa’s steady, measured backing for a business built on traditional cold-pressed production methods is a useful signal of where investor interest in India’s clean-label food category is heading.
