C2C Marketplace Vingo Raises Rs 10 Crore Seed Round Led by IndiaQuotient to Build a Trusted Platform for Pre-Owned Goods

Bengaluru-based Vingo, a consumer-to-consumer marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned products, has raised Rs 10 crore, roughly $1.2 million, in a seed funding round led by IndiaQuotient, with participation from Inuka Capital and Credgenics founder Rishabh Goel as an angel investor.

Here's the real problem Vingo is trying to solve. C2C commerce in India already happens everywhere, informally, through classifieds, WhatsApp groups and local networks, but the experience is often messy. Poor-quality listings drive buyers away, trust between strangers remains weak, logistics for used goods vary wildly by size and condition, pricing negotiations get contentious, and without enough active buyers and sellers in the same city and category, the whole marketplace stalls. Vingo is betting it can fix these pain points systematically rather than leaving them to chance.

The product approach reflects that thinking. Vingo combines identity verification, community-based product discovery, escrow-backed payments and a bidding system, all built into one platform, covering categories like smartphones, cameras, gaming consoles, musical instruments, fashion and sports equipment. The company plans to use this fresh capital to strengthen its product and trust infrastructure, dig deeper into user behaviour research, and run targeted marketing across key consumer segments.

The founding story is genuinely young. Vingo was founded in March 2026, just months ago, by Parth Sarthi from BITS Pilani, along with Saransh Goyal and Krish Vashistha from IIT Delhi, all engineering students building this while still early in their own careers. The platform currently operates only in Bengaluru and is live on both the Play Store and App Store.

The market opportunity is what makes this worth watching. India's recommerce market is projected to grow from $5.91 billion in 2026 to $8.61 billion by 2030, and Vingo is positioning itself squarely in the C2C segment of that expansion, at a moment when investors are reportedly evaluating marketplace startups less on hype and more on whether they can actually solve everyday friction for real users.

From campus builders to a funded C2C platform, Vingo's seed round is a small but early signal that India's pre-owned goods market is finally getting the structured trust layer it has long needed.
