C2C Marketplace Vingo Raises Rs 10 Crore Seed Round Led by IndiaQuotient to Build India's Next-Gen Pre-Owned Goods Platform

Bengaluru-based Vingo, a consumer-to-consumer marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned products, has raised Rs 10 crore, roughly $1 million, in a seed funding round led by IndiaQuotient, with participation from Inuka Capital and angel investor Rishabh Goel, founder and CEO of Credgenics.

Here's the problem Vingo is trying to fix. India's resale culture already exists informally, people sell old phones, furniture, cameras, laptops and fashion items through classifieds and local groups all the time, but the experience is messy. Listings are often unreliable, buyers and sellers don't fully trust each other, pickup and delivery logistics get complicated with used goods, and pricing tends to swing between overpriced sellers and heavy-bargaining buyers. Vingo is building a trust-first alternative, combining identity verification, community-driven product discovery, escrow-backed payments and a bidding system into a single platform.

The fresh capital has a clear roadmap. Vingo plans to strengthen its core product, invest specifically in trust and payment infrastructure, conduct deeper research into user behaviour, and scale targeted marketing across key consumer groups as it grows its presence.

The founder story adds an interesting angle here. Vingo was founded in March 2026, making it barely five months old at the time of this raise, by Parth Sarthi from BITS Pilani, along with Saransh Goyal and Krish Vashistha from IIT Delhi, all engineering undergraduates building this while still early in their careers. The platform currently operates only in Bengaluru and is live on both Android and iOS.

The bigger opportunity is what makes this space worth watching. India's re-commerce industry is projected to grow from $5.91 billion in 2026 to $8.61 billion by 2030, and investors are clearly paying attention to trust-focused approaches in this category, even at the earliest seed stage.

From informal WhatsApp groups and classifieds to a dedicated trust-led platform, Vingo's seed round is a bet that India's pre-owned goods market is finally ready for a real digital upgrade.
