AI Edtech Startup Arivihan Raising Rs 96 Crore at a 3.3X Valuation Jump to Rs 570 Crore

Indore-based AI edtech startup Arivihan is set to raise Rs 95.86 crore, around $10 million, in a Series A round co-led by existing investors Accel and Prosus, marking the company's second fundraise in just 15 months.

Here's how the round is structured. According to regulatory filings, the company's board has approved issuing 4,648 Series A compulsorily convertible preference shares, with Accel and Prosus each contributing roughly Rs 47.48 crore, and the remaining amount coming from angel investors associated with the GSF accelerator, including Dinesh Chandra Agarwal, Dinesh Gulati and Rajesh Sawhney.

The valuation jump here is the real headline. Arivihan's valuation has surged nearly 3.3X to around Rs 570 crore in this Series A round, compared to roughly Rs 171 crore in its previous pre-Series A round, which the company had closed in July last year at $4.17 million, also led by Prosus and Accel.

The founder story adds important context. Arivihan was founded in 2024 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar and Rushabh Kothari, and offers AI-powered personalised learning aimed specifically at students in tier-2 cities and rural India, adapting content, tutoring and doubt resolution to individual learners without human involvement. Co-founder and CEO Chandel has said the company is expanding its CBSE offering, deepening its presence in medical entrance exam preparation, and aiming to cover nearly all state boards by the end of the year.

The growth numbers back up investor conviction. In FY25, Arivihan's revenue jumped nearly 14.8X to Rs 3.14 crore, up from just Rs 21.29 lakh in FY24, a steep enough curve to justify existing backers doubling down rather than waiting for new investors to lead.

The bigger picture matters here too. This funding lands amid renewed investor confidence in India's edtech sector, an industry that spent years in decline following the Byju's collapse, as AI-native platforms increasingly reopen the opportunity by promising personalisation at a fraction of the earlier cost structures.

From a two-year-old Indore startup to a Rs 570 crore valuation, Arivihan's rapid re-rating is a signal that AI-first edtech is finally winning back the capital that fled the sector.
