Welcome to our small corner of paradise, nestled within the lush, vibrant greenery of rural Sri Lanka. While we are surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature, our living situation is far from secure.
As you can see from the photos, our current home is a humble structure made of wattle and daub with a fragile, rusted corrugated metal roof. It is a constant struggle to keep the elements at bay. During the heavy tropical rains, the roof leaks, and the mud walls are vulnerable to erosion, making it unsafe for us to live in peacefully.
Our dream is simple but vital: to build a small, durable, and safe home where we can live without fear. A sturdy house would protect us from the rain, wind, and the challenges that come with our current living conditions.
We are reaching out to kind-hearted people around the world to help us make this dream a reality. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a safe and secure future. Your donation will directly go towards purchasing building materials like bricks, cement, and a proper roof.
We are deeply grateful for your compassion and generosity. Thank you for being a part of our journey and helping us build a sanctuary we can truly call home.
