Offri un caffè a Samantha Mozart

I gave up everything, including our car, for a decade to serve as unpaid caregiver for my mother who suffered from dementia. Now, a decade later, I am struggling with the fallout. Still trying to recoup my losses and make ends meet while I fulfill my passion of writing about our caregiving experience in hopes of supporting and comforting others in a similar situation, and publishing my other written works. At 83, I don't want to die with my music still in me. Now and again a nice cup of coffee would warm me -- and keep me alert so I don't doze off while I'm telling you my stories.
