About S.I. Alfarra | Olives in the Rubble
A Palestinian photographer & writer sharing life, hope and creativity
My name is Suleiman Alfarra. I am a 25-year-old Palestinian photographer, writer, and content creator from Khan Younis, Gaza.
I live with my family and continue trying to protect and support them through extremely difficult circumstances. Our lives have been shaped by displacement, uncertainty, and the daily struggle to find basic necessities, but I still believe in the power of hope, creativity, and human connection.
Photography and writing are how I document our lives, preserve our memories, and share the human stories behind the headlines. Through my photographs, personal reflections, poetry, and videos, I want people around the world to see Gaza through the eyes of someone who lives here—not only through destruction, but also through family, dignity, faith, love, and the determination to keep creating.
Your support helps me provide essential needs for my family, stay connected, continue documenting our lives, and build a future through my creative work.
Every coffee, message, and share reminds me that I am not alone and gives me another reason to keep creating.
Thank you for standing beside me and my family.
— Suleiman Alfarra
Photographer and writer from Gaza
