Upon any cancelation, access is revoked. There are no "rewards" for accessing the guide. So in the event you decide to cancel and choose "I did not receive ... " you in fact have received access to what you subscribed to.
Once I send you a link accessing the guide, once you access the link, I receive notification that you gained access. So you are in fact gaining access.
If you opt not to use any of the additional options mentioned in the tier you subscribe to, then that is not on me to suggest you use those options.
