Hi! I make Dragoman, a free and open-source Kodi add-on that translates subtitles into your own language while the video keeps playing.
A lot of shows and films only have good subtitles in English. Dragoman takes the subtitle you pick, or the one your subtitle add-on downloads, translates it with Google Gemini using your own free API key, and switches to the translation by itself. No pausing, no copying files around. It runs on Kodi 19 or newer on any device: Android TV, Fire TV, PC, Mac or LibreELEC.
Dragoman is free and will stay free. Your coffees pay for the hours spent testing on real TVs and boxes, fixing the bugs you report, and building what's next:
- translating the part you're watching first, so the translation shows up in seconds
- fixing subtitles that are out of sync
- support for more subtitle formats
