Yesterday, a junior UX designer asked me should he opt for the UX Bootcamp and career coach courses.
My answer is those career coach options are too costly. I've seen so many early-stage designers unemployed after finishing boot camp. I'd prefer learning online, then volunteer for some UX community or work on freelancing projects to get experience, then good things will come. So the question is which design community should you join?

After joining the community, spend your time actively discuss the threads in the community to sharpen your network. Who knows your job offer can come from one of those threads (I got my job offer from a Slack thread, serious!). If your network can lead you to an interview, this is an article showing you tips and behind the curtain interviews at top design companies.
