ITS AUGUST WHAT???

ITS AUGUST WHAT???

Aug 18, 2026

Okay… where do I even start? 😂

I’ve just looked back and realised my last blog post was in March.

MARCH.

And considering how much has happened since then, I genuinely don’t even know how we’re already in August.

When I started writing these little life updates, I wanted somewhere I could properly document my life. Not just the pretty Instagram pictures or the 30-second TikToks, but the actual reality behind them.

And then, ironically, life got so busy that I stopped writing about it.

So here we are. Five months later. And I feel like I have about 87 updates to give you. 😂

✨ Life Has Been… Full

If I had to describe the last few months in one word, it would probably be full.

Full of opportunities.

Full of change.

Full of amazing memories.

Full of moments where I've thought, how is this actually my life?

And also full of moments where I've felt completely overwhelmed and wondered what on earth I'm doing.

Basically... very me. 😂

I've travelled, worked, traded, created more content than I can count, been to events, worked with brands, had some amazing PR opportunities, spent time with my girls, my friends and family, and somehow tried to keep normal life ticking along in between.

There have been some really high highs and definitely some lows too.

But I think that's what I want this blog to be about.

All of it.

Not just the highlight reel.

💻 Work Has Changed So Much

One of the biggest things has been how much my work life has evolved.

Trading is still a massive part of my life and something I've now been doing for nearly three years, which honestly feels mad to say.

There's been events, team nights, learning, teaching, good trading days, bad trading days and plenty of staring at gold wondering why I willingly put myself through this. 😂

I've also started sharing more about Zinrai and the community/business side of what I do.

I've always been conscious that I never want to become that person online who is constantly trying to sell something or convince everyone to join them.

That's just not me.

I want to share what I'm doing, what I'm learning and why I'm doing it and if somebody relates to that or wants to know more, amazing.

Alongside that, my UGC and content creation has just kept growing.

I've had some really lovely brand opportunities, gifted experiences, PR packages and events over the last few months.

And I still have those little moments where something turns up at my door and I think...

Wait, someone actually sent ME this?!

I don't ever want to lose that gratitude.

✈️ And Apparently I Live Out of a Bag Now

There has been SO much going on.

Germany.

Marbella.

Mallorca.

London.

Festivals.

PR events.

Days out.

Random nights away.

Boat trips.

And about 700 occasions where I've been unpacking one bag while mentally packing another. 😂

Some of my favourite memories haven't even been the big trips though.

They've been the random summer days.

Being with my friends.

Going to festivals with my daughter.

Family get-togethers.

Beach swims.

Drinks in the sunshine.

Little spontaneous plans that somehow turn into the best days.

I've realised recently that those are the bits I want to remember.

👩‍👧‍👧 Mum Life Never Stops

Obviously, amongst all of this, I'm still Mum.

And that part of my life has changed loads too.

Having a 16-year-old is honestly like having a built-in best friend who occasionally reminds you that you're embarrassing. 😂

We've been to festivals together, gone out, made memories and reached that stage where I'm realising just how quickly she's growing up.

Then there's my youngest, and we're heading into another completely new chapter with homeschooling.

That's probably something I'll write a whole separate post about because there are so many feelings around it.

Elora also turned 11!!!!! I cannot believe it. Time flies it really does.

Being a mum will always be the biggest part of my life.

Everything else somehow has to fit around that.

Sometimes gracefully.

Sometimes held together with coffee, a messy bun and pure determination. 😂

🤍 I'm Still Rebuilding

I think this is probably the biggest thing.

Back in March, I felt like I was rebuilding my life.

And I still am.

I just think I'm further along than I realised.

I'm learning who I am outside of the life I had before.

What I actually enjoy.

Who I want around me.

What I want my days to look like.

What I'm willing to accept.

What I'm absolutely not willing to accept anymore!!!!

And I definitely don't have all the answers.

There have been moments over the last few months where I've felt so confident about where I'm going, followed approximately 24 hours later by me completely overthinking my entire existence. 😂

But maybe that's just part of it.

I'm not trying to have everything figured out anymore.

I'm just trying to build a life that actually feels like mine.

🥹 So… Why Am I Back Here?

Because I've missed this.

Social media is amazing, and I love making videos, but everything is so quick.

Film it.

Edit it.

Post it.

Onto the next thing.

I want somewhere I can actually sit down and talk.

Somewhere I can look back in a year and remember what life really felt like at 35.

The chaos.

The exciting bits.

The mum bits.

The work bits.

The dating bits... although I'm not sure the internet is ready for that chapter yet. 😂

The friendships.

The travelling.

The things that go completely wrong.

And hopefully all the things that go right too.

So instead of trying to write one enormous post explaining every single thing that's happened since March, I'm just going to start again from here.

There are definitely going to be some throwbacks because I've got SO much I want to write about.

But for now...

Hi again. 👋

It's August.

Life looks pretty different.

I'm still figuring a lot of it out.

But I actually think I'm starting to really like the person I'm becoming.

And this time, I'm going to try not to leave it five months before the next update. 😂🤍
