I am a passionate individual who has dedicated my career to the audiovisual industry. Starting in 1999, after completing a course at the Technical School of Image and Communication, I embarked on a journey as a freelancer, providing sound services for live events and post-production. My love for the craft led me to further expand my knowledge and skills through various training courses and internships. Throughout the years, I have consistently pursued opportunities to learn and grow, whether it be attending seminars, interning at prestigious institutions like the Council of Europe, or pursuing a PhD in Media Arts.
My passion for the audiovisual field is evident in my commitment to teaching and mentoring others. From being a tutor at the University of Television and Film in Munich to my current role as an assistant professor in the cinematography and visual effects departments, I actively share my expertise and experiences with aspiring filmmakers. My dedication to education and cultivating the next generation of talent showcases my deep passion for the industry.
My enthusiasm extends beyond academia. As a freelancer, I have contributed to numerous projects, bringing my sound design and mixing skills to create captivating audio experiences. Additionally, my involvement in the creation of Okkosmos Film demonstrates my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to explore new avenues within the audiovisual realm.
In addition to my work in the audiovisual industry, I hold a Master's degree in Information and Enterprise Systems with a focus on enterprise architecture for rural accommodations in low population density areas. The main goal of this endeavor is to improve the offer, mitigate seasonal effects, and reverse the continuous cycle of decline in areas with low population density.
Furthermore, I am currently embarking on a PhD journey in Web Science and Technology, further expanding my academic pursuits while maintaining a strong connection to the audiovisual field. My journey is a testament to my unwavering commitment and love for the craft, as well as my commitment to addressing challenges in rural areas through enterprise architecture and my ongoing pursuit of research in Web Science and Technology.
