🎉 New Feature: Biography Images!

Great news! We've added images to biography entries in the Day in History API.

What's New?

When you fetch births or deaths, each biography now includes a new image field with a direct link to a photo.

Key Points

✅ Free & Included - No extra cost, works with your existing API key

✅ Fast Delivery - Served via CDN with worldwide caching

✅ No Breaking Changes - Your existing code still works. The image field is just a bonus!

Coverage

About 60-70% of biographies now have images (~28,000 total). If image is null, no image is available for that person.

Example

Try it now:

GET https://api.dayinhistory.dev/v1/today/births/

You'll see the new image field in the response! 🖼️
