Offri un caffè a Rochelle Del Borrello

Salve, I’m Rochelle!

An Italo-Australian writer, poet, and eternal scribbler who has called Sicily home for over two decades. I write about life as an expat in a small Sicilian town, sharing the beauty, quirks, and chaos of this Mediterranean island.

If you love Sicily (or just love a good story), you’ll enjoy my blog Sicily Inside & Out, where I take you deep into the heart of the island—its history, culture, and everyday moments that make it special.

For my fellow creatives and lovers of words, I also run A Babel of Words, a space filled with poetry, personal musings, and artistic experiments. Poetry has been my first love since childhood, and I firmly believe that anyone who enjoys music secretly loves poetry too.

And if you’re craving more personal reflections, ramblings on creativity, and thoughts on life in Italy, subscribe to my newsletter A Load Off My Mind. It’s where I share the things that don’t always make it into my other blogs—deep thoughts, odd observations, and everything in between.

This blog is my little corner of the internet where all my passions collide. I’d love for you to join me—subscribe and let’s go on this journey together!

Thanks for reading, Rochelle
