Rob Schläpfer is a retired social science educator. He created the Oregon Education Project to promote high-quality American Education centered on the Science of Learning.

Rob spent over a decade conducting classes and community conversations to bridge Oregon’s deep political divide. He teaches "psychology for democracy" and how to understand our Liberal Democratic Republic.

"Liberalism is a constrained progressive vision like our republican Constitution itself. American government works best with a center-Left to center-Right balance. Today’s illiberal extremes undermine that. We need to restore an effective center."

A former pastor, professor, and publisher, he’s taught critical thinking, civics, and cultural studies for over four decades.
