I've been playing piano and singing since I was a child. Music moved my soul my entire life so I decided to major in vocal performance in college... Only to find out that I did not know the music theory that I should have known after so many years of lessons. My good ear could only carry me so far. It was then that I swore that I was not going to allow that to happen to any of my students! Music theory does not need to be difficult and tedious. A good, solid theory base will only enhance your love and performance of music and can be taught even from the very beginning of musical study.
