Hi Ron, I sent you the list via email.

Achim bought 2 coffees.
Dear Ron,
in addition to my donation from before: I just realized that the donation is in CAD, not USD, so I thought I should at least (!) donate one coffee per song, sorry about that. ;) I hope this is okay (some songs are quite long, esp. the medley). Otherwise let me know.
Best wishes again!

Dear Ron.
As a german (45 years old), seing you react to AMK (which i saw live before they got famous) and Herbert (beautiful reaction to Herbert's "Der Weg", wow. I really am very sorry for your loss. You touched me a lot with that reaction. I saw Herbert on that tour from "Der Weg" twice, amazing!)
Now to my favourite band, where the lyrics are not THAT important to me, the voice is more like an instrument. Exceptions are there, of course - "Fading lights" for example. But still the instrumental part in the middle is what gets me the most.)
You did Genesis. Oh please, yes!!!
Please climb further into this rabbit hole?
Travel the Genesis cosmos and discover more than their huge radio hits ("land of confusion", "Invisible touch", "I can't dance" (NOT my favourite song, but "Mama" (oh yes!))
They went from prog rock to radio pop, played acoustic and electric in their early days, long and short, symphonic and catchy, always dramatic. their first big hit "follow you follow me" - 1978 - the year i was born) was on their ninth album (of 15).
Yes. Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins (drummer first - watch Drumeo's brand new documentary about him on YouTube) and many more came from the Genesis mothership.
Anyway. To make a long story short.... Here are my suggestions, a “right” first selection of studio and live versions from the various creative periods- som,e with PG singing, some with PC singing - always with PC on the drums (also in the instrumental secions when they played live - when he was not singing):
Firth of fifth (1973):

Blood on the rooftops (1976):

In the cage medley + Afterglow (live 1984):

Hello Achim, Thank you so much for your donation and requests. I have copied your list and will begin recording and posting within the next couple of days. I'm looking forward to these. Some I might have heard; however, I didn't hear a lot of Genesis, so I'm sure some of them will be new to me. Thank you for your kind words as well. Have an amazing day! 😊

(i dont know the creator but i like this video.)
Remember to me: I grew up in GDR (East Germany) in a communism regime without free traveling, without capitalism without free speech.
I know the diffrents between free trading in a globalization world and the luxury lifstyle we live today.
Tarrifs makes all more expensive.
Without cheap goods manufactured abroad (clothes, cumputerchips, vegetables, toys, cars ....)
our luxury lifstyle will shrink. Fear will growing.
Take your time for starting reaction, i dont need a quick upload ^^
a amazing week to U ;)
Hi Clio, Thank you so much for the donation and the request link. I will be reacting to the video soon. Before I do, I can say that I have not given much thought to Canada joining the EU, although I have for decades thought that Canada should do more trade with many countries. We do, in fact, have free trade agreements with something like 50 countries at the moment! It is just that the USA is so easy geographically and culturally to deal with (pre Trump). I think we should look to building stronger ties with other countries and finding ways to trade more effectively and in higher volume with them. (Our current Prime Minister is already talking to others.) Also, something I think should have happened a long time ago, Canada should lower its interprovincial barriers, making it easier for our own provinces to trade with one another. Politicians and Canadian citizens are pushing for this to happen. As to the popularity of Canada joining the EU, I don't know. I haven't heard anyone discuss actually joining - only doing more trade. The Queen (and Queen mother) were quite popular in Canada - although somewhat less so for the younger citizens. Of course, there are always some who want to get rid of the monarchy. There are those in the UK that don't want the monarchy any longer, too. King Charles is not as popular as the Queen was; however, I get the feeling that Canadians aren't totally against him. (Many did seem to think that when the Queen died, we should stop the connection, but I haven't heard much about that lately, so maybe they have accepted the King.) Personally, I liked the idea of the Queen and I liked the Queen mother as well - but I'm fine with or without the monarchy as they are only symbolic for the most part in Canada (and not much more in the UK any longer either). I do understand those who have issues with the monarchy because of colonialism and all the difficulties that caused - but those historic arguments are well above my pay grade - lol. The problems that Trump is causing go far beyond free trade, of course. He is hurting free speech, women's rights, gay rights, trans rights, and the very components of democracy that protect democracy! Having said this, Trump will not last forever - and I think he is a "one-off." I don't think anyone else will be able to successfully emulate him in the USA anytime soon at least. His term should end in 3 1/2 years. (Of course, he is talking about trying to get a third term which is against the law, but he is 78 already, so he can't go on forever.) After the Trump era, the USA might return to a more rational country. If that happens, the ease of trade between our countries will still make it impossible for us to ignore. Although I think some things might stay permanently changed, I am sure that we would be trading close to the same levels again. (Unless I'm wrong and the states loses its democracy completely.) At the moment many Canadian are not buying US products. Many stores are now ordering fresh produce from Mexico, South America and other countries. I just bought grapes from South Africa and lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers grown in Canadian greenhouses. Most provinces have taken down all American alcohol products. You can't buy them in stores now. Of course, Canada is doing counter tariffs as well. The tariffs will hurt everyone, but I'm guessing that a lot of the voters who voted for Trump did not realize they would hurt them. When they find out, they won't be happy with him any longer. We shall see. I'm looking forward to watching the video. Have a great day, Clio.
